The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) announced the launch of the technical sandbox for the comprehensive national platform Tawakkalna and began accepting applications from the first group of private sector companies.
Applications will be evaluated based on specific criteria and controls designed to ensure the delivery of secure, integrated digital services that foster innovation and strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors.

This initiative aims to enhance Tawakkalna’s role as a unified national platform by supporting integration between government and private entities through a flexible, regulated framework. It allows companies to test their services with real users in a secure technical environment, reflecting the growing interest from private sector entities in leveraging the platform to deliver digital solutions.

Through the sandbox, private sector companies gain access to over 34 million users, enabling them to assess service quality, ensure alignment with user experience standards, and promote innovation. This initiative expands the impact of public-private partnerships by facilitating the introduction of high-quality, user-focused digital services.
Eligibility criteria for sandbox participation include holding a valid commercial registration and necessary licenses, complying with applicable regulations, adhering to governance policies, aligning service content with national values, and offering services in Arabic as the primary language.
