The Thai Restaurant Association (TRA) is preparing to submit a petition to incoming Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, urging the government to introduce a co-payment scheme to ease living costs for consumers and provide relief for restaurants nationwide.

Thaniwan Kulmongkol, President of the TRA, said the association had conducted surveys among restaurant operators and consumers across the country.
