Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, celebrates another milestone for Saudi Arabia’s luxury hospitality sector, as five of its flagship resorts were recognized in the prestigious Michelin Key Selection announced in Paris this week.

Shebara Resort, Six Senses Southern Dunes, Desert Rock Resort, and Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, were each awarded two Michelin Keys, marking them among the world’s most exceptional stays. Additionally, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, part of RSG’s destination portfolio, earned one Michelin Key, further solidifying the Kingdom’s emergence as a new global hub for world-class regenerative travel experiences.

The Michelin Key Selection, the hotel counterpart to the globally renowned Michelin Stars, honors properties that deliver excellence in architecture and design, service quality, authenticity, and a strong sense of place.

This achievement underscores Red Sea Global’s pioneering role in redefining the future of tourism and hospitality in Saudi Arabia, combining innovative design, environmental stewardship, and authentic cultural connection to deliver experiences now recognized on the world stage.

The Red Sea welcomed its first guests in 2023 and today operates five luxury resorts alongside Red Sea International Airport (RSI). Eleven additional luxury resorts are set to open on Shura Island throughout 2025, offering exceptional experiences for visitors from around the world.
