The participation of 24 startups in the Innovation Driven Water Sustainability (IDWS) Conference, organized by the Saudi Water Authority (SWA) in Jeddah from December 8 to 10, underscores the success of the authority’s efforts to strengthen the national innovation ecosystem.
The participation of these companies embodies the authority’s vision to empower entrepreneurs through incubation and technological development programs. These initiatives support ideas from early concepts to market-ready products across key areas, including water production and desalination, water transmission and distribution, water reuse, and modern irrigation technologies.
SWA affirms that supporting startups is an ongoing commitment to building an advanced water technology industry, empowering the next generation of innovators to contribute to future solutions, and solidifying Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for modern water technologies.
