Wearable technology startup the ‘Temple’ founded by Zomato cofounder Deepinder Goyal has nearly doubled its valuation to USD 375 million, in less than six months after raising its seed funding.
Temple has also introduced its first employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) liquidity programme, allowing a section of its early employees to monetize part of their vested stock options before its next fundraising round. The latest secondary transaction values Temple at USD 375 million, almost twice the USD 190 million valuation at which it raised USD 54 million in seed funding earlier this year.....
