CTOS Digital Bhd's general offer to acquire the rest of the shares in RAM Holdings Bhd will enhance its position as a credit-assessment expert.

Hong Leong Investment Bank Bhd (HLIB Research) said RAM is a bond rating leader with a 65 per cent market share.

With this, the firm said CTOS looks to leverage RAM's leadership to penetrate new addressable markets, particularly in smaller bond issuances and high yields, targeting the under-tapped small and medium enterprise (SME) segment....
